Junior Jump Package
The Junior Jump Package is designed for the student who is already focused and prepared to jump into planning ahead. This package is to direct the student’s thinking toward completing all the necessary components of the application in a timely and effective manner. It will cover all areas related to college application process, including guidance on SAT/ACT prep and tutoring on CORE subjects; analysis of classes and impact on GPA; college essays; review of potential scholarship opportunities; and a variety of other essential college preparation topics.
The Junior Jump Package recognizes that students vary widely in their needs. Therefore the following breakdown of services is merely illustrative. This package provides 40 cumulative hours of guidance and assistance, over the next two years, to be determined by the specific needs as articulated by the student and parents.
The following is a proposed breakdown of the discussion and planning necessary to provide a workable map for the student:
Meetings beginning October of Junior Year and ending in January of Senior Year;
Evaluating academic history and records;
Discussing coursework for Senior year;
Providing career and assessment tools for discussions about potential majors;
Guidance on SAT/ACT prep, and potential for multiple examinations;
Guidance for developing a proper college resume;
A timetable for deadlines;
Preview of college applications;
Brainstorming and supporting the extensive college writing process, including the Common Application Essay, the Coalition Application Essay, Personal Statements, and all Supplemental Essays as required by specific colleges.
Ensuring all application questions are answered and prepared;
Strategic guidance about Early Decision / Early Action;
Interview preparation and tips;
Follow up with acceptance letter decisions.
The Introductory Rate for the Junior Jump package is $4,000. Additional supplemental essays not included in this package will incur an additional fee.
